1 week later...my life in a nutshell (or a blog)

Well, it has been a week since I started my new medication regiment...I now need an "old person size" pill box! I was just dosing out all my vitamins, supplements, and medication for this week and if I didn't pack it just right, they all didn't fit in my 1 box per day pill box! So I need to get the pill boxes that have morning, afternoon and night boxes for each day...it's so sad! I am officially old. I have had some really good days and some not so good days, but hopefully over the next month or so, it will all start to even out a bit more. I have been outside more this week, and I think that has helped. I have also been sitting under my sunlight lamp more often.

I had a parent teacher conference yesterday with Super boy's teacher. She said that the psychologist said she doesn't think there is any reason to worry about Autism! She thinks it is just speech related, but will still continue to test and monitor over the next year. That was some excellent news. Also, Super boy's teacher is very adamant that he should be in the Accelerated learning program that he tested for. She says he is doing 2nd grade math and reading! Such a smart cookie! She is very proud of him and is so happy to be teaching him. Super boy has also been to an orthopedic specialist for his pigeon toed-ness and has had special inserts for his shoes that are helping to turn his feet to the proper angle. He has been great about remembering to switch them into whatever shoes he is wearing...what a grown up boy!

In other news, Super girl is officially off all of the following foods:

dairy
soy
nuts
apples
grapes

We also have to be careful of the breading on some chicken...it is too seasoned or something, and she has a reaction. Talk about issues...poor baby. We have to go in for her 18 month check up and report on our findings. We might have to go see a Gastroenterologist too. Fun fun fun.

This just in...
I just got a picture sent to my phone...I think my sister just had her baby! She is cute and pudgy! They were worried that she would have to be delivered by c-section, so I can't wait to find out how it went!

Well, that's my life right now. Thanks for tuning in! And thanks to all my friends who have helped and supported me lately...you are all so amazing! Love ya!
